I understand the mother of #EmmitTill demanded an open casket during his funeral so the entire world could bare witness to his murder. The world needed to see. But with #TyreNichols brutal death at the hands of police . . . I just can't. I am not turning a blind eye. Maybe some day. I'll have to steel myself. The sadness is profound.
