- Till last week I did not know that official electronic ID(app) was a thing in Czechia.
- Till yesterday I did not know that it was even accepted for elections (it's obvious, but still).
- This is how uneventful, easy, and user-positive eID is when we focus on what it can bring instead of hypothetical drawbacks.
- And the fuckup of the system collapsing during elections? That's great news. That means it won't happen ever again.

Back on the beloved eID topic: In Czechia, for the first time, people could've used electronic IDs for elections. The system was (unsurprisingly) not tested for real-world load and collapsed. Leaving people no other option than using their physical IDs that everyone has since 1958.
