Please join Colorado Common Cause for a virtual candidate forum with the candidates running to become Colorado's next Secretary of State, on Monday, June 15 from 5:30 to 7:00pm MST. The Colorado Secretary of State (SOS) is our state's chief election official. Not only does this office have important responsibilities over the conduct of our elections, but under the Trump Administration, this office is responsible for safeguarding our private election data from abuse by the federal government. The Colorado SOS also regulates campaign finance; the SOS is responsible for maintaining transparency of the funds that are spent to benefit candidate and issue campaigns, and upholding accountability for misconduct and legal violations.
