kevinalso, the only political protest i ever attended was a 1970 rally in chicago in support of cesar chavez and the california lettuce pickers. i remember chanting “boycott scab lettuce” with the best of them.
tbf, the only reason i attended the rally was that a girl who barely tolerated me was okay with inviting me to join her at the protest. gotta admit, her invite was hot. ask me about 18 year old males sometime.
to this day, however, i am not a fan of #scabLettuce. #eeew, that’s fuckin gross.
