Two years ago I made a replica of this 50 years old microphone. I had acquired some parts of sony ecm-50 and ecm-51 microphones from a company that works with Hollywood studios. The part that is held in hand is part ecm50, part ecm51, part me converting to modern tech. Then i did the shaft, capsule, fet transistor, wiring etc. Went with fixed length instead of telescopic.
