I created a YouTube playlist of some short recordings of cowbell music from my hikes around #Seealpsee and #Ebenalp.

It’s really quite remarkable how pervasive the sound is, even in #Gais, where I was staying.

Today I took #NazarsRock up to #Ebenalp by way of aerial tram. What a blast! I missed the easy trail and ended up doing a pretty good hike that was treacherous in only a few places. I fell once but was able to grab onto a fortuitously situated clump of grass to avoid rolling 700 meters down to the alpine lake #Seealpsee that I had hiked up to and around 3 days ago. As on that day, today I was again impressed with the pervasiveness of cowbell song. It’s having an extraordinary effect on me that I can’t quite articulate yet, but I’m starting to make some connections with modalities that could be helpful for the traumatized soldiers and civilians in #Ukraine. I’ve no idea yet what shape that could take but those bells call me to the here and now, and to the cow munching her grass. And those little light-colored things on the right side of the 3rd pic? Zoom in if you can. The mighty #Swiss mountain cows. No wonder their milk is so good. #mindfulness
