Hartlepool Beach
Taken on my first photography visit to Hartlepool in Nov 2024. This photo was a bit of an afterthought so unshared till now.
The sun had just broken free of the clouds and was casting golden light across the sand, I decided to take this last shot as I walked away from photographing the posts.
Steetley Pier Sunrise
This photo seems quite warm and calm. In reality it was bitterly cold, blowing a gale with intermittent sleet showers.
I struggled to take long exposures as the tripod kept sinking into the sand as the waves rolled up the beach.
At least I got a brief bit of sunlight, just enough to take this.
