What connection is there, if any, between U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris promising to ensure that the U.S. has "...the most lethal fighting force in the world" (see video at :23; August 22, 2024) and #Drumph's Pentagon claiming the same thing: "...and all personnel, including Matt McNitt, reflect the administration’s shared mission to ensure our military is the most lethal fighting force in the world.”(August 5, 2025; Phila Inquirer, p. 4)?

I'm interested in the pathway to get to "once this madness is over." Strategically, it might be better to consider what messaging -- and action -- would have convinced the missing 40%.

As for the 31% that did vote for #Drumph, there was already so much compelling information about what he symbolized, and what he said he'd do, that I don't think the 31% will suddenly get it. I hope I'm wrong;

With Drumph stripping departments of any power and putting idiots in charge is it a good time to clone key government sites like CISA and NIST so we can preserve them?

Remember during some of the government shutdowns not being about to reach important sites like that.

@SteveThompson By this, #Drumph is concluding the ascend to a true totalitarian regime. A feature of any totality is ALWAYS the regime encouraging neighbours to rat and inform to the regime on each other (often for direct or indirect profit).

This is the surest way to destroy communities and society.

Failing to use power to protect and defend the Constitution from someone who intends from day one to eviscerate it IS an abuse of power. #drumph
