The #bbc 's reporting of recreational #drugs use and #drugPolicy here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64408790 is astonishingly misleading.

They cite a study comparing the relative harms of #NOS and #poppers but if you check the actual study (produced by #davidNutt 's excellent #drugScience) you can see it rates #alchohol as 10 times more harmful than both.

Why would you leave this very salient fact out of your reporting unless you were willfully pushing #drugsAreBad nonsense?

So I’ve recommended this book twice to service users/patients/clients this week for completely different reasons. I’m thinking why not start a essential #drugs #reading list!
