@vsauce (hopefully that's them) does another masterful video! Are you a #doomsayer or a #doomslayer ? I prefer the latter. Hopefully everyone with children does, too. Each of us alive today is the descendant of an innumerable lineage of successful forebears going back billions of years, perhaps into space (there's a good @kurzgedacht video about that).

Because I can't help myself, I'm going to get political here. You can see the difference between the doom & gloom Republican Party and the hope & happiness Democratic Party in the evaluation of our situation & the solutions to existing problems. (Not for nothing, progressives have a much better track record in being right than conservatives. Basically 100%.)
