I was too late to take the #digitalidconsultation on the #UK government's #digitalID-s survey, so here's my opinion.

We already have a million forms of ID; we don't need another.

Given that it is useless, why spend money we don't have, on a system we don't need, and will inevitably be cocked up, like just about every government #IT implementation?
