Digitale Servicelösungen in Bibliotheken: Wunsch versus Wirklichkeit
Zusammenfassung Der Triumphzug des Digitalen in der Gesellschaft und im bibliothekarischen Bestandes- wie Servicewesen ist noch lange nicht beendet. Bibliotheken übernehmen als demokratische Akteure der Informationswelt die öffentliche Aufgabe, einen kritischen Blick auf die oft hochgekochten Digitaldiskurse zu eröffnen. Der vorliegende Projektbericht geht der Frage nach, inwiefern im Serviceportfolio der Bibliothek der Pädagogischen Hochschule Zürich durch digitale Lösungen in den letzten Jahren Synergien entstanden sind – und welche Auswirkungen dies bei Mitarbeitenden und Nutzenden auf die knappe Ressource „Zeit“ hatte. Die eingesetzten digitalen Tools werden auf ihre Relevanz und Funktionalität hin beurteilt und mit einer kurzen Aufwand-Nutzen-Schätzung hinsichtlich einer möglichen Effizienzsteigerung überblickt.
