A trend – that personally worries me a lot – is, that there's currently a very strong push to centralization in healthcare. There's a really strong push for efficiency, instead of resilience.
This to me seems in stark contrast to the challenges ahead; especially geopolitically. Paradoxically yesterday surgeon general of the Bundeswehr Dr. Schwab was touting the same horn, discussing the challenges of a central European conflict theatre (#WTF). IMHO too much conjecture in that talk.
