SLCW💥This is why uneducated laypersons shouldn't pretend to be experts in subjects they clearly have no expertise in. Yes, there's a link between #truancy and drug use, teen #pregnancy, #delinquency, and low self-esteem. However, a CAUSAL link hasn't been established. This #judge doesn't understand the significance of that, and assumed that imposing draconian punishments for truancy would somehow mitigate those other conditions. Correlation isn't causation, judge.
