Scottish classical and jazz musician, clarinetist, arranger, and composer. He played with the Scottish Symphony Orchestra, as well as worked with several jazz musicians (Joe Harriott, Tony Coe), and wrote commercial orchestrations. He released a jazz album "New Directions" in 1965.
