I really do enjoy my time in these little coastal towns, I've always felt extremely comfortable around water and the smell reminds me of home!

End of day. No music. No phone on the nightstand.

Just five minutes with a notebook and whatever stuck with me today.

It isn't productive. It isn't optimized. It's just quiet.

And I think I need that more than I realized.

Enjoyed this article ... but mostly enjoyed finding the word 'fabulation' (I kind of intuited its meaning, but had to look it up).

My brother is a massive fabulator* (in the psychiatric sense, I think) and, although I've learnt to let him 'remember' the world as he wishes, it's incredibly disorientating when he so assuredly recounts childhood 'memories' that I know cannot be true.

(*or maybe confabulator)

🌍 Given all that’s been happening lately… what are you thankful for today?

I’m asking this in celebration of the November month of Thanksgiving here in the USA — but no matter where we are in the world, and whether we celebrate or not, we can all choose a moment of gratitude.

And if there’s one thing every single one of us can be thankful for, it’s this:

✨ The simple gift of waking up to a new day.
A new chance to breathe, to hope, to love, to learn… to choose who we want to be.

So tell me below ⬇️

What are you thankful for today?

Mantra for the day: Nothing is wrong with ordinary. I strive for it — ordinary like trees and birds, like rivers and mountains, like all creatures. Ordinary isn’t the same as normal; it’s simply part of the order of things. It’s the place where we all belong.
