I know it’s not film it’s the #nikon #D40 and I loved that camera, it was my first ‘real’ camera and only months after I got it I met my #wife on layover in #Singapore. She worked for Tiger Air at the time and they offered to show us the local nightlife and we pretty much hit it off right away 💛 She gave up the #platinumblonde look after it started to fry her hair and learned all about henna on a trip to India but that’s another story. Sometimes it shocks me how much life I’ve lived when I look back. Oh, and yes I used to have hair 😄 #feelingnostalgic

Here's something different from me. I took this shot with my first DSLR, the Nikon D40, back in 2008. Unfortunately though, the macro lens I used to shoot this with was sacrificed for me making the jump to full frame and getting what's been my favorite camera, the D750. I had some fun with the lens but it was definitely my least used one.
