Reason Number 42 why the CyberSix comics never reached the USA officially:
- Disney would've sued any distributor into insolvency for a Mickey Mouse reference...
(Obviously this was before the Copyrights on "Steamboat Willie" had lapsed!)
But aside from that, CyberSix does bleed and suffer real injuries in her fights.
- They are just rare and more serving of a narrative than anything.
Tho one can certainly argue people in the CyberSix universe, espechally the Anime, seem way more able and willing to do dangerous stuff.
- I mean, why else would Lucas Armato jump down >5 - 10+ meters downwards into chicken coup when chasing [then yet to him unknown] #CyberSix?
The final nail in the coffin for the "Gynoid" claim re: CyberSix is the mass murder of her 4.999 siblings at the hand of Von Reichter's men.
Very certainly they weren't machines!
I'm not gonna post that here for very obvious reasons:
- I want to keep this account not only somewhat visible and I do accept the reasonable rules here and the rest of Fedi, but also:
- There's nothing to be gained posting gore.

The #comic|s do at least are better in some edge cases.
Both the #Anime and Live-Action fail the #BechdelTest (tho arguably one could say that this is due to the short series's duration?)
The #Anime fails at an "Inverse Mako Mori Test" and with the Protagonist one could argue about the #VitoRussoTest, given the comic-explained narrative behind #AdrianSeidelman.

All in all, The CyberSix Anime delivers a solid mix of Character development and Progression that is consistent, with a good mix of Action and Interpersonal Quiet Moments.
- Aside from Episode 1, 2 and the last (13) one can basically watch them in any order and it would not destroy the cohesion and story development.
I mean, how else could one depict said pain in a child-friendly manner?
- After all, it isn't an open wound nor something constant. The depiction is fairly similar to drug widthdrawal.
So no, I don't subscribe to the "Gynoid" theory, because all the experiments of Von Reichter - in all 3 media (Comic, Live-Action & Anime) are organic.
- #Sustenance was merely introduced as "passivator".
The Animation Quality of CyberSix is just AAA and still holds up to this day.
- Few Anime can beat it, and they certainly have spent way higher budgets per runtime for it...
I guess there was a meeting with TMS & NOA going like this:
Animator: How many frames per second do we need to animate? 30? 25?
Director: I want 24 Wallpapers per Second...
Animator: ...
Animator: Say no more!
