ChaoticMitzvahProgress shot of the asparagus patch. It’s as bare as it is due to budgetary concerns. Or else I’d have this jam-packed with herbs and veg and leafy greens. The weather has been unseasonably cold and I planted a month late, so the strawberries aren’t anywhere near where I had imagined them to be- taking over the plot. Oh well. Maybe in a few months. I wonder if anyone local would let me use their rooting hormone on the runners.
•Italian pole beans that kindly reseeded themselves from last year’s 3 Sisters Patch
•Black&Pink beans that I sowed at the trellis
•There are 5 additional varieteis of bean planted: one variety at each pair of bamboo poles.
I still need to weave some places betwixt them for the wee beans to grab, but that’s for another day.
