Penultimate stop on this #cruise for us is #Grenada and we'd only planned a casual walk around anyway because of uninteresting excursions or things to see locally, plus we'd had the long trip yesterday and we've something interesting planned for tomorrow. And that was before the "feels like" temperature of 39°C. We walked slowly, we encountered a fight with one man armed with a plank with nails in it, we saw lots of fish and pretty views, we did some shopping.

A full day in #Dominica yesterday. We took a tour with two Americans to the north of the island, putting our hands in cold, bubbling, volcanic springs, visiting a fort, having lunch of chicken roti in #Portsmouth (good name that), then being rowed up a river, all in ferocious heat. But on the row back we got hit by a tropical downpour. Hilarious screeching from our rower and us, all drenched, so much fun.

De dochter van de 80-jarige Suzanne Rees, die door een cruiseschip werd achtergelaten op een Australisch eiland en daar overleed, beschuldigt de aanbieder van de reis van een gebrek aan zorgvuldig handelen en een gebrek aan 'gezond verstand'. Het lichaam van Rees werd zondag gevonden nadat personeel van het schip had opgemerkt dat zij niet aan boord was.
