For #SchiffsSamstag here's a view from the Old Government House on #Tortola looking back over the bay we'd walked around from our home aboard Grand Princess last month.
Grand Princess, built in 1998, was the first of the Grand-class cruise ships that Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises, and Carnival Australia operate.
You can also see Logos Hope in front, a floating bookshop ship run by a faith-based group.
#Tortola today, and we thought it was going to be more bearable but it's been excruciatingly hot and humid here. We've only sweated more in Vietnam.
A very slow walk brought us to the Old Government House #Museum. Wonderful place and staff, gorgeous gardens.
More slow walking later brought us to the Pusser's Pub for a fantastic rum cocktail, friendly staff, loads of naval memorabilia, and powerful air conditioning.
