A juvenile Carrion Crow (Corvus corone) perched on a rock with its beak open, possibly calling or begging for food. Its feathers are a mix of slightly scruffy, fluffy down and developing adult plumage, all dark grey-black. The interior of the mouth is vivid pink-red, a common feature in begging juvenile crows.
