I do like a challlenge, but this is very, very challenging. It's supposed to be the trefoilknot, but somehow I must have taken the wrong direction 😆. I will have to try again.
I never have been good in math in Dutch and in English terms it's even more dificult obviously. For example I have never heard of a knot in math before, only in yarn 😉. But I do get the grips of that's helpfull to understand this kind of math if you can crochet it. Very interesting for math teachers!

Warming up with the Möbius band says Shiying Dong in her paper on mathematical crochet. So I did. I will have to experiment with the wire in the edge a bit though, because the ends peep out.
Next is the trefoil knot. 🫣😁
