Still waiting on my #coronoavirus stimulus check. IRS and a letter from the POTUS tell me it was paid May 8. I am told the payment for expats, apparently refused by my bank's direct deposit account takes 9 weeks to arrive in the mail, which will be about 2 weeks from now. A 2nd stimulus check seems a bit more likely now

Even here in #Thailand where the population is accustomed to do whatever the government tells it to do, some small slippage from containment regs has been seen. Stage 4 of reopening coming this week, Thailand has done well so far holding down #coronoavirus cases, but we will see what happens when the bars reopen

There's a fair chance I may receive a #coronoavirus stimulus check this week. A bit confused on the amount to be expected, since I receive both a US Gov't Pension for 25 years of government work (which is taxable) and Social Security for my 15 years in corporate America. Mailed for some dumb reason, as the IRS has known my Direct Deposit account for 5 years
