Con Edison’s refusal to answer questions comes after 404 Media reviewed court records showing #HomelandSecurityInvestigations ( #HSI ), a division of ICE, has previously obtained such data, and the #FBI performing what the records call ‘searches’ of Con Edison data.

Has an #Electrician, or someone smarter than me, done the math on when home battery backup systems are worth the cost? Looking at #conedison site, a kWh costs 3 cents usually, but 33 cents during peak summer hours. I feel like there is a break-even point

Just wrote an email to my building about my current use of a portable #induction burner and viewing the #ConEdison usage report. The #dishwasher and #microwave likely use more power than the induction burner. BTW, using the burner has not changed my electrical bill (I had expected it to skyrocket. It didn't)
