My daughter and I liberated the People's compost yesterday!

When computing life gets to be too much with browser windows that won't close (human problem, not bad software) and aggravation over buggy sites, it's good to go shred some paper. Shredding S.O.'s old bills.
Nothing like the satisfaction of shredding gasoline credit card bills, knowing the shredded paper is the carbon ingredient of #compost pile. Big Oil dead trees will go into my compost pile and become good fertile soil for garden. Take that!!

Woke early to go to the opens-at-7am municipal compost giveaway, arriving 7am. #Compost is still warm, there’ll be some cure time for it to cool down.
This is a morning when I realize we’ve become THOSE sort of people.
The.comfrey propagation experiment is working out really well. The entire gutter was filled with fine roots with new plants emerging every week. I took 2/3 of the plants out and put them into a nook in the yard between some trees.
I gave several to friends and called it the cow manure plant after the way comfrey tea smells while fermenting. To a fertile future!
