I love a good cafe. I’m 51, that older than many, but not as old as some. Cafes seem to mutate. This cafe one is charming and functional, and truly local.
I’m truly grossed out by the sterile, shiny, faux “high end” cafes— see the other cafes on this page, or maybe you have several in your area. We do. Give me a funky coffee shop, a place in an old building or Victorian house, couches, evidence of life and smells of coffee. A cafe someone loves operating, not just handing off to a manager (exceptions ok) and a team of young ones who prefer syruped concoctions to pulling a good shot.
