Got the KS rewards for the Cloud Empress (a Nausicaa-inspired ecological fantasy game based on the Mothership Panic Engine system) expansion Land of the Living/Land of the Dead. It even came with a beautiful box that I can use to store the original game’s zines and pamphlets!

In the final session of the campaign, the angel is freed and the Permastorm comes down. However there is an invasion by a bunch of Imago which is a close run thing and Spoon takes out their leader with a great sacrifice which destroys one of his arms and leaves his spirit adrift in the Slip.
We've all very much enjoyed this and might well come back to it in a while.

The sort of visit to the past, of sorts goes mostly well, and much history explained.
They now have the means to take down the Permastorm, but that would mean anyone could just walk into the city and create carnage. So they decide to chivvy along the leadership battle in the Wardens.
The plan is tight and there are a few kinks along the way, and one of them finally sells the new boss to the rest of the Wardens so it's all good.

Spoon mislearns a spell but fortunately doesn't cause serious damage, just a sleeping effigy of Lord Sven. Still short of one magician for their plan, they spring Stellmer from the Wardens with a well executed plan that goes surprisingly smoothly. With the crew assembled it's time to journey to the past and find the information needed. This starts pretty well and Spoon even manages to learn a spell.
From the last two packages I've received. Zines for #mothership, #CloudEmpress, and the game Zombie Braineaters!

The team get into Bravo City and meet some Antiquarians manhandling a sentient wardrobe. The get on well, and then some wardens drop in and it's the end of the whimsy as they arrest most of the team. They wait for a suitable moment and free themselves, messily. And then they find a surprising ally who has a plan that matches the team's goals.
It's all very cinematic. You hardly ever convincingly capture the PCs in an RPG.

The investigation gathers pace as they encounter a tour guide, a village of scavengers, Twig Witches, a magician drawn to the area by their dreams and a friend from the previous visit to the surface, Then they blab all her secrets in front of strangers and it suddenly gets very complicated.
Most of the encounters were randomly generated but it fitted all so well and made for a compelling story.

My regular group is back and on a mission from the Emperor to investigate Bravo City which crashed some 30 years ago west of the Breadbasket. It's defence mechanism, a firestorm has started to close in on it and risks its destruction. Lord Sven is instructed to take his team and sort this out. The start at Fort Bump, on the lip of the crater, gathering intel about what's below and the people in it and ready themselves for an expedition below.

A one-off in-person game in a pub with chaps from Raspy Raven Discord, I ran the Bean Barge and followed up with Penance Village. Everyone really got into their characters and it was just a really fun time.
