Me leaving the house for the first time in 2026, full of optimism, cheerfulness, & with a slightly fuzzy head.
Next, this cloud looking across to the woods in toothy excitement (have decided excitement can be toothy now *nods wisely*)

Coming home from an errand run & the woods at the back of the house were GLOWING in the low evening sun. I (obviously) wanted to try & capture it, but by the time I got into the garden with the camera the sun had gone behind the clouds & the glow had gone.
Anyhow. Apropos of nothing in particular, here's a cloud.
Really must go and do something useful soon.
Cleared the last couple of weeks worth of snaps off my phone. Lots of blue skies and fluffy clouds, and I know I saw something in all the clouds when I snapped them, but I'm not seeing them now 🤷♀️
The good thing about clouds though, is that you can whack a face on pretty much any of 'em if you really want to.

The sun is shining.
The trees are green.
The sky is blue.
The clouds are - well - the clouds are being a bit odd tbh but still, what a pleasant day (no, I haven't looked at the news yet, and you can't make me).
Nope, I am absolutely not avoiding the chores that I definitely need to get done today. Definitely not.

Today's cloud creature has an important public service announcement for people taking advantage of the sunny weekend to visit rural Scotland.
I realise we're sleepy & quiet & laid back compared to life in the big city but it is very important that you understand WE STILL HAVE CARS.
Just back in from one short walk & saw two near misses as people walked on the road instead of the extremely roomy path.
