This article came out two years ago, and if we'd fucking heeded the warning and got on with #CleanerAir, we would have so much less illness (and allergies, and smoke inhalation, etc) around.
It's estimated that modern-day humans spend 80-90% of their time indoors. Indoor spaces should be fit for purpose, aka not just cheap sealed boxes where we hot-box each other's breath for hours on end.

Reading this makes me feel like I do in #COVIDcautious discussions where everyone is all in on masks and boosters but seems entirely unaware or unconcerned with #CleanerAir.
Why the reluctance to address #TheAirWeShare?
Especially when doing so takes the onus of prevention off individuals and expands it to the spaces we share? To the people who own and operate those spaces, who have a duty of care if those spaces are, necessary for human thriving?
Thinking about that one article about the heatwaves and some obtuse talking head recommending that people start using parasols for shade when it gets this hot. And. On one hand, absolutely fuck that random guy, fix the actual problem for once instead of suggesting superficial solutions... But also absolutely yes PLEASE bring back parasols, I'd love to be able to find one without making it myself!

Exhibit A: less general wheezing over winter during laundry times
Clean air indoors, but also outdoors, is an accessibility issue. The immunocompromised, those with cardiac and pulmonary issues, migraine, sensory sensitivities, etc...need cleaner air. Clean air for all!
