Christmas is not as nice as solstice. Christmas is getting black bean donuts and treats while my partner talks to a queer client who is having a shitty Christmas. Glad the seasonal hype dies today (as much I like the pagan aspects of it). Christmas is a pickle ornament. Will be making ramen and crafting.

So, ich oute mich dann auch mal.
In meiner minimalistischen Atheistenbude findet keinerlei Weihnachten statt. Und die Betonung liegt auf keinerlei. Keine Deko, kein Baum, keine Geschenke, kein Weihnachtsessen, keine Weihnachtsmusik, nicht mal eine Kerze. Ihr mögt es vielleicht trostlos finden, für mich ist es mega.
Nur zur üblichen weihnachtsbedingten Familienzusammenkunft habe ich mich-wie jedes Jahr-für morgen nötigen lassen.

Today is November 16th. We are a full week before Thanksgiving.

I went to a store tonight. Kohl’s in Salem, NH.

All of their christmas decorations were up and they were playing christmas music over their PA system.

Screw you, Kohl’s. Screw you, christmas. Screw you, greed.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, but as christmas gets earlier and earlier I just end up hating this time of year.
