This is, clearly, a huge change from the Tories who put horrific conditionality into Universal Credit, who put "work experience" as a mandatory activity (aka provide free labour to huge companies in the hope that they'll spot your shelf stacking genius and upgrade you to the purple shirt rather than the orange shirt and actually pay you)
