Because I can not let glue dry...I moved to another project. This uses two #cbgitty kits, the amp and the psycho box, along with a large cigar box as the enclosure. It is better sounding than I imagined. Enclosures ftw.

The crank shaft and wheel are now housed in a nice thick wood cigar box. I'm using #cbgitty box as the sound board and possible bottom...still figuring the sonic realities of that.
The neck is going to be at least one hardwood one with ,maybe, a fretboard. The drones are going on the sides in a as yet to be determined layout.

I was trying to figure out building an #oud but given the amount of #cbgitty parts I have now it is going to be more a 3 stringer. 4 strings put on and tuned, for now, GDG*B. The kalimba is on and semi tuned. I want it deeper, maybe a second row. Overall it makes a great resonant sound but I still need to get the springs inside and possibly some sympathetic strings. More as it happeneds.
Building a 4 string resonator guitar....with a few builds under my belt I have picked up on the cupped hand sanding technique...and since the hand sanding is going to be the one playing it the finished build glides nicely. Power sander? Having just ate dinner I am the power sander.
