There were two hedgehogs in the garden this summer, and they were adorable. The second one was new, which was exciting.
A couple of weeks ago I found a dead hedgehog on the road near my house. It felt so unfair.
I checked the cameras today, and at least the smaller hedgehog is still busily patrolling the garden! The bigger one hasn't made an appearance since then, but I'm so glad at least one of them will hopefully make it to and through hibernation.
