I’ve lived in #Buffalo so long that I’m finding myself thinking and talking like a local. I didn’t grow up all that far away, just 80 miles to the east. I was texting with my sister this morning and she was flipping out because of how much snow fell overnight. I asked her and she said 5 inches, it’s crazy! I told her we ONLY got 5 inches and the only reason I used my snowblower was to be done in a few minutes. #buffaloweather
I’ve been leaning into my seniority at work this week and turned off the office central air, instead opting to open all the windows. I’ll push as long as I can, at least till others really can’t stand the heat (or I can’t stand the whining) #buffalo #buffaloweather #weather

I’m at the point I’m mowing my yard every couple of days, taking off the top 5 or 6 inches. Mowed today, also mowed on Friday. Rain is in the forecast for the rest of the week. I guess I’ll just have to find the least rainy time on Wednesday or hope it doesn’t rain that day #weather #buffalo #buffaloweather
Today is much warmer than it’s been for the last 2 weeks. I’m running a short empty/cleaning cycle on my washing machine, and so far everything seems normal with no frozen lines. Good thing, too since my old dog pissed the bed overnight and I really don’t want to spend another $50 at the laundromat for the second day in a row #buffalo #buffaloweather
Welp! About 5 years ago my wife & I remodeled and moved laundry to the first floor. Now the water line shares a wall with the garage, ugh. We’ve known this causes the line to freeze but normally can wait it out. No such luck, weeklong forecast is all teens & 20s. Will be heading to the laundromat later to deal with the mountain of dirty clothes piling up. At least there I can use multiple jumbo sized units at the same time. man0fbassUpdate: snow was up to my thighs today. Took a fair bit of effort to reach my car but I'm fully dug out and a path has been cleared for the rest of my folks. Many hands make light work.
