Had to dig out a spare keyboard to troubleshoot an issue with the Raspberry Pi. It really highlighted that in the past decade-and-a-bit my taste in keyboards has gone from one extreme to another.

Could not help myself when Model F Labs had a bleedin' sale on the F77...today it landed with a thud on my desk. Oh my, this is something else. It weights in north of 4 kilograms and seems to be made of panzer steel. Cork feet! They remind me of the ones on the Amiga A2000. Snatched some old IBM model M keyboard.

After some cleaning it works flawlessly, even thought it's manufactured in 1991.

Main difference compared to mechanical keyboards, that it needs much higher force to actuate switch. But you get used in few days.

Also this keyboard is not for people who want silent typing experience. It's one of the loudest keyboards I have ever used. You can even hear springs buckling on actuation and release.

Even lent doggo approves it.

@scrat @fuchsiii wenn du sichergehen willst dass du statf #Cublicle nen eigenes Büro bekommst, dann rate ich zu #BucklingSpring (Model M) oder #BoxNavy (MX-kompatibel), weil die sind klicy af und akustisch sehr imposant.
