John Thomson's Classical style tenement building at Bridgeton Cross on the East End of Glasgow. It was built in 1871, meaning it's probably the oldest remaining building at these crossroads.

This is listed as being built as a branch of the Trustees Savings Bank, but the Royal Coat of Arms of Scotland on the Bridgeton Cross Elevation would suggest an association with the British Linen Bank instead.

Former bank building at Bridgeton Cross, Glasgow. Built in 1894 to a design by John Gordon (although the date on the Landressy Street elevation says 1900). I particularly like the roofline creates by all those chimneys.
