If you need a reminder that collective action and boycotts get it done, look no further than the sales of #Tesla's #Swastikars and how they've tanked breathtakingly in the last year to the point of forcing #SpaceKaren to consider pivoting the direction of the org. All those protests outside Tesla showrooms and the social stigmatization of owning a Tesla have shown the world's biggest hoarder of money what we think when an unelected technocrat with ulterior motives takes a chainsaw to the government.

But we need to keep up the pressure. If you're in the US and upset about the US government's support of genocide, buy local and make US consumer goods companies notice a drop in sales. Grow your own cilantro indoors - it'll be one less thing you'd need to buy at the store.

If you're outside the US, check the label on anything you buy and put those "California almonds" back on the shelf. Switch to non-US tech, one service at a time. Annoyed with Netflix content? Try Mubi for a while.

Those who weaponize trade shouldn't be surprised when others return the favour.
