Tributes to ‘true legend’ of outlaw biker scene
TRIBUTES have been paid to a ‘true legend’ of Scotland’s outlaw biker scene who helped form the notorious Blue Angels 60 years ago.
Friends, loved-ones and fellow bikers have flooded social media to celebrate the life of Lenny “The Lion” Reynolds who passed away aged 80.
Reynolds was a founding member of the motorcycle club set up by Allan Morrison and Billy “Stone” Gordon in Maryhill, Glasgow, in 1963.
News of Lenny’s death emerged shortly before Christmas, triggering a wave of tributes and setting in motion plans for hundreds of bikers to attend his funeral later this month.
Pal John J O’ Shea was among those paying tribute online.
He wrote: “An old friend of mine passed away recently, Lenny Reynolds, one of the founding members of the Scottish Blue Angels.
