SECTION 25 is a band originally from Blackpool, England, formed in 1978. They are known for their association with Factory Records, a Manchester-based label, and their music often falls under the genres of wave, post-punk, and synth-pop. The band's early work was produced by Martin Hannett, Ian Curtis, and Rob Gretton, with Curtis and Gretton also involved in their debut single and album, "Always Now". A notable track from their later period, influenced by New Order's Factory sound, is "Looking From A Hilltop", which became a club hit.
Section 25 was formed by brothers Vincent and Larry Cassidy in Blackpool, Lancashire, in April 1978. They were part of the Factory Records roster, alongside bands like Joy Division, A Certain Ratio, and Durutti Column. In 2024 the released a new album called 'Move ON'.
