#rust mentioned; let's go ๐ฆโจ๐
#JavaScript and #WebDev tooling goes brrrrrrrrrrrrr!
oxc - The JavaScript Oxidation Compiler - by Boshen (author of Rspack)
Of course it is written in #Rust ๐ฆ
I wish we were back to when the tech news only where "Look, there's a new and overhyped web #framework that does exactly the same thing as the last one but slightly different but this one is #blazinglyfast, with #batteriesincluded and #opinionated, whatecer any of those words mean" I was rooting for then to finally rediscover standard UI design!
But now we only have layoffs and AI and all these things that all present risks for everyone but capital investors (or not, because it's probably going to burst)
@jsbarretto Wow, congrats, Joshua, this is absolutely mind-blowing! ๐คฏ
On a related note:
When I first looked at your channel crate `flume`, I thought: "How are these perf numbers even possible!? And all in completely safe Rust!?"
And now `chumsky` as well! Amazing!
It seems like everything you touch goes ๐ ๐
This is what the Rust community means by _technical excellence_!
Thank you for your hard work! โค๏ธ

@hyde Also check out `qsv`. ๐
It's an actively maintained fork of xsv (xsv is not maintained anymore).
qsv is _very active_ in development.
And shameless plug in the end ๐
Just a few days ago, `csv-diff` got merged:
https://github.com/jqnatividad/qsv/pull/711
csv-diff is a crate for comparing CSVs with ludicrous speed:
https://gitlab.com/janriemer/csv-diff
So the new command `qsv diff` is now the fastest #CSV differ in the world! ๐

๐Memory safe, blazing fast, configurable, minimal hello world written in rust(๐) in a few lines of code with few(1247๐) dependencies๐ - mTvare6/hello-world.rs
I'm really impressed how fast vite is. Now frontend development is fun again. ๐
