This one is awkwardly tucked behind a row of car parks with very little space to maneuver a bike when the car parks are full, and it's still almost always at capacity.
Wellington #bike and #PublicTransport adventures: Miramar edition
Bus to Kilbirnie, then rode to Miramar via the wind needle & waterfront bike path. The waterfront path through the tussock has got to be the gold standard for separation and overall niceness to ride. Then shared path - good until it ends suddenly just before Miramar shops.
Return to Kilbirnie via quieter streets in Miramar, the tunnel under the airport & Leonie Gill cycle path.

More #bike, kid and #PublicTransport adventures. Southbound from Wellington CBD waterfront to Kilbirnie wind needle, with bikes on the bus to town & home.
About 7 km flat riding. Mostly off-road cycle paths or shared paths, but some short on-road sections with paint/vertical paint on a pretty busy road. Bring on the full cycle lane. Great with a tailwind!
