As part of an Oral Bible Storying workshop, people from various languages came together to memorize key stories of the Bible in a storytelling format. This makes God's Word accessible for languages without a written Bible. In this photo, speakers of Namakura, a language from islands northeast of Efate Island, recited portions of Abraham's story. I recorded their stories so they could have a digital copy of their work. Now, speakers of these languages will be able to hear and know of God's gracious kindness to Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, Ishmael, and us. #vanuatu #efate #language #translation #bibletranslation #biblestorying #bible #flourishing
