Since inception, children and youth receiving We R H.O.P.E. services have shown significant improvements across key mental health indicators: Depression: Moderate to severe depression scores decreased by 65.9%, from 0.82 at intake to 0.28 at exit. Anxiety: Significant anxiety levels dropped by 66.7%, from 1.35 to 0.45. PTSD Risk: Scores decreased by 58.1%, from 0.406 to 0.17. Suicide Ideation: Lifetime ideation saw a 7.1% increase, from 0.07 to 0.075 potentially reflecting increased student comfort in disclosing thoughts in a safe environment. Current Suicide Risk: Remained unchanged at a consistently low baseline. Eating Disorder Risk: Increased by 41.3%, from 0.276 to 0.39—suggesting enhanced identification of concerns through more effective screening and trust-building. These outcomes highlight both the effectiveness of our model in reducing emotional distress and our growing ability to identify and respond to early signs of risk. As we move into a new school year, we remain committed to breaking down barriers, providing consistent support, and helping every student thrive emotionally, mentally, and socially."
