gotofritzPet peeve: I don't know where this idea that italian #frittata are baked, so popular in the anglosphere, comes from. That is only a hack if the frittata is too large and heavy and would risk breaking.
As a rule, frittatas are cooked on the stove and flipped with the help of a lid or a plate. If you don't believe me, see for yourself - search for any frittata on youtube using italian names for the ingredients ("frittata di cipolle", "frittata di patate", etc)
