I did manage to sew the lining to the exterior without leaving the zipper open, but that was an easy fix.
Some days things just work. I made a double pull zipper that meets and my fabric matches across the zipper. Must be holding my tongue right today.

A friend asked me to make a couple of " Beach Bags" for her granddaughters for Christmas. This is what I came up with. Since beach days around here are about six months away, I went for gym or pool bag. They are made from waterproof canvas and quilting cotton. The design is mine. They have recessed zippers and an interior slip pocket, as well as a key lanyard.
I love how the cat wall climber looks like a designer bag store!
I made a travel wallet for a young friend heading off the Great Britain shortly. I decided a little Canadian identity was needed. It ended up with more than a little Canadian identity. The pattern is "The Globetrot travel Sling" by ChrisW Designs. I made the right handed version. It is intended to be worn under your coat.
