In recent weeks, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has taken the cities of al-Faschir in Darfur and Bara in Kordofan.

According to reports, up to 2,000 civilians were massacred in al-Faschir – another horrific chapter in a war that is destroying entire communities.

More than 10 million people are fleeing, and over 25 million are dependent on humanitarian aid.

These are not just numbers – they are lives, dreams, stories.

While children are being killed, families destroyed and cities burned down, the humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan remains almost invisible.

But silence kills.

We call on the international community, organisations, trade unions, political parties – and you – not to look away.

In den letzten Wochen hat die Miliz der Rapid Support Forces (RSF) die Städte al-Faschir in Darfur und Bara in Kordofan eingenommen.

Berichten zufolge wurden in al-Faschir bis zu 2.000 Zivilist*innen massakriert – ein weiteres grausames Kapitel in einem Krieg, der ganze Gemeinschaften vernichtet.

Mehr als 10 Millionen Menschen sind auf der Flucht, über 25 Millionen sind auf humanitäre Hilfe angewiesen.

Das sind nicht nur Zahlen – das sind Leben, Träume, Geschichten.

Während Kinder getötet, Familien zerstört und Städte niedergebrannt werden, bleibt die humanitäre Katastrophe im Sudan fast unsichtbar.

Doch das Schweigen tötet.

Wir rufen die internationale Gemeinschaft, Organisationen, Gewerkschaften, Parteien – und dich – dazu auf, nicht wegzusehen.

This will be followed by a panel discussion with activists organizing against racist police violence in Germany and abroad.

“In the heart of Athens, Paris, and London, three young lives – Nikos Sabanis, Ibrahima Bah, and Chris Kaba – are cut short by police violence, exposing the deeply entrenched racism within Europe's policing systems.

Im Anschluss findet eine Podiumsdiskussion mit Aktivisten statt, die sich gegen rassistische Polizeigewalt in Deutschland und im Ausland engagieren.

„Im Herzen von Athen, Paris und London werden drei junge Leben – Nikos Sabanis, Ibrahima Bah und Chris Kaba – durch Polizeigewalt beendet, was den tief verwurzelten Rassismus innerhalb der europäischen Polizeisysteme offenbart.
