Second mechanical watch! This one is a San Martin homage to the Zenith Type 20. Ridiculously large (45mm diameter and 15mm high) but still daily comfortable. Looking forward to the bronze aging.

Gifted this to myself for completing my MSc in HPC from EPCC, Uni of Edi, with an engraving - कालः सर्वज्ञः - which translates to "Time is Omniscient".
Every time when parts of my life didn't make sense to me, I would look for answers in that present. But time knew what was happening, and what it will lead to.
Looking back now, everything makes absolute sense. Hence, the engraving.
Also, I really love Interstellar.

Got this watch yesterday. My intent will be fix it up and make it look the best I can. I am not a fan of plated cases. Not sure if I want to go about removing all the plating and leave it or have it plated again, or maybe I just leave the look as is? At any rate, this won't be a watch I keep. Maybe this is a process I document on YouTube? Could be a good thing for my new channel. I need ideas for a channel centered around watches/watchmaking. Maybe I answer questions? I don't know yet fully. 😅
