You know, I’m reminded of something a teacher once told me back in 2017 when I was studying sound engineering.
He said, “It’s not about the fancy, expensive equipment. It’s not about how many plugins or tools you have at your disposal. It’s about what you do, and how you do it, with the little that you have.”
That stuck with me — and even now, it still rings true.
Right now, I’m sitting without a laptop charger. My battery gave up a long time ago, so essentially, I’m without a working laptop. And yeah, it’s frustrating having to hustle just to get a charger. But… it is what it is.
What I can say is this: I’m proud of what I’m able to accomplish with what I have.
Sure, it’s my dream to one day have a beautiful studio I can call my own. I’m not there yet — but that doesn’t mean I’m giving up.
Does lacking the perfect setup mean I should stop chasing my goals? Absolutely not.
Radio is my passion. Audio is my life. Sound design speaks my name.
And I’ll be damned if I let anything — or anyone — stand in my way.
