When ordering custom PCBs online, don't forget to check EVERYTHING before placing the order.
My first prototype run of the FLIP card business cards predictably had problems. I forgot to check the board thickness (whoooops) so they're too thick (by 1mm!) and forgot to check the box for pick n place so they'll place the required components on the PCB.
This, however, is why we do prototypes before any production runs...

Today, I learnt that when using a descending loop variable, it should never be unsigned; otherwise, there will be an overflow when decrementing. It's an exciting mistake and a cool realisation!
๐ต Dark mode just cost me two straight days of work at least. How? Just look at the picture below and witness things appearing out of nothing.
Background info: I like #Futo #LouisRossmann and the #ConsumerRightsWiki and planned to do a drive-by-contribution so that they get a proper logo.
And, yes, I DID search thoroughly for an existing logo. Now that I'm almost finished I turned on dark mode by accident and was baffled. Looks like all my work was for nothing.

Another thing happened during the last session: I felt comfortable and confident enough to say in the middle of a big set piece, "Please give me a moment to write this down."
And it was much better for everyone than for me to try to struggle and keep the scene going _while_ taking notes.
